Want to help shape the future of Danish language learning?
Dansk for Begyndere is currently a one-person operation. There are no open positions right now.
The mission, however, is bigger than what one person can achieve alone. As the platform grows, I hope to bring in people who share the belief that Danish language learning can be made more accessible, more effective, and more connected to how languages are actually acquired.
If that resonates, I'd genuinely like to hear from you.
I'm not recruiting for specific roles right now. But I'd genuinely like to hear from people who believe in what Dansk for Begyndere is trying to achieve — and who might want to contribute when the right opportunity emerges.
The first people to join will help shape not only their own area of work, but the organisation itself. That requires people who are comfortable with ownership, uncertainty, and building structures where they don't yet exist.
People who believe the mission matters
The first people to join won't just fill roles — they'll help define what the organisation becomes. That requires a particular kind of person.
People who care about Danish integration — genuinely
Not as a job category, but as a real challenge. You understand that arriving in Denmark with a degree, a work contract, and the motivation to build a life here doesn't automatically mean being able to participate in Danish society. You believe that barrier deserves better solutions than what currently exists, and you want to be part of building them.
People who question how languages are taught
Maybe you've experienced it yourself — sitting through classes, memorising grammar rules, passing tests, and still not being able to follow a conversation. You're curious about how languages are actually acquired, not just taught. You believe that effective learning isn't only about more instruction — it's about creating better conditions for real acquisition to happen. You may have encountered comprehensible input and felt the difference, or you've simply arrived at the conclusion yourself. Either way, you think the existing system isn't good enough.
People built for early-stage work
You're not looking for a defined role in a stable organisation. You take ownership, build things that didn't exist before, and contribute beyond the edges of a job description. You're comfortable not having all the answers and don't need someone to tell you what to do next.

Technology & Development
Building and improving the platform that learners use every day. This means developers who can ship features thoughtfully — progress tracking, vocabulary tools, audio integrations, payments, analytics, and AI-powered personalisation — and who understand that the product's job is to make the daily habit of listening easier to sustain.
Education & Content
Creating the comprehensible input that sits at the heart of everything Dansk for Begyndere does. This includes language tutors who teach through natural conversation, stories, and real-life situations — adjusting pace and vocabulary to the learner's level rather than explaining grammar — and video editors who can transform Danish input into engaging visual learning experiences using subtitles, animation, and contextual examples that support understanding without translation.
B2B & Partnerships
Growing Dansk for Begyndere's business side by selling Danish language solutions to companies, municipalities, universities, and institutions with international employees. This includes sales development, account management, partnership building, and customer success — people who can both open doors and ensure that business clients actually see results from their investment.
Marketing & Growth
Helping the right people discover Dansk for Begyndere and understand why comprehensible input works. This means developing the overall growth strategy, managing digital campaigns, building brand presence, and communicating a genuine methodological shift to an audience that may be sceptical — or simply unaware that a better approach exists.
Customer Experience & Community
Supporting learners from their first interaction through to real fluency. This includes community management — building and moderating the spaces where learners connect, share progress, and keep each other going — as well as customer service and the broader work of making sure no one drops off simply because they felt alone in the process.
Events & Operations
Running the events and internal systems that bring the Dansk for Begyndere community to life and keep the organisation functioning. On the events side: conversation cafés, cultural evenings, corporate workshops, and online webinars. On the operations side: the workflows, coordination, and infrastructure that allow everything else to scale without losing quality.
Introduce yourself
If you believe in the mission, I'd love to hear from you. This isn't a formal application — it's a conversation opener. Send me a short message introducing yourself: who you are, what kind of work you do, and why Dansk for Begyndere specifically interests you. A link to your work is always welcome but never required.
I read every message and respond to those where there's a genuine fit. I can't promise a timeline, but I can promise I'll remember you when the time comes.
